Uniform and Jewellery
At Ann Cam Primary School, we have a uniform which is intended to be smart and practical and provides a positive identity in the local community. We hope it will help children to feel part of the Ann Cam family and act as a reminder of our school values.
The school sweatshirt, polo shirt, book bag and PE bags are available from Gooch Sports in Newent. Plain navy jumpers and t-shirts are also available. Second-hand uniform is available with our PTFA. All clothes should be clearly named.
Jewellery should not be worn in school; this includes rings, bracelets, necklaces and earrings. If ears are already pierced then a simple stud may be worn.
Boys
- Dark grey trousers / shorts
- School sweatshirt / Navy sweatshirt
- School polo shirt
- Black / grey socks
- Black shoes
Girls
- Dark grey skirt / trousers
- Dark grey shorts
- School sweatshirt / cardigan / Navy sweatshirt or cardigan
- School polo shirt
- White socks / black or grey tights
- Black shoes
- Blue striped/gingham dresses are an alternative for summer wear.
PE kit
We offer a wide range of physical activities for children that take place both indoor and outdoor.
Children will need the correct kit to be safe and comfortable for these sessions.
We recommend children do not come to school wearing stud earrings on PE days.
In a named PE bag, children will need:
- Plain navy or black shorts / tracksuit bottoms
- Plain blue t shirt (Ann Can logo t shirts available from Gooch Sports)
- Navy hoodie / sweatshirt
- Trainers – not the same as their school shoes
Please ensure all PE kit is plain with no sporting logos.
